In a recent YouTube video, UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping named four UFC fights he’d like to see booked in 2023.
As we hit the gap between Christmas and mid-January, when the UFC takes a break, fans begin to discuss which fights they’d like to see in the upcoming year.
One of these is UFC Legend and analyst Michael Bisping, who spoke on his YouTube channel about the fights he most wants to see.
Michael Bisping Reveals His Must-See Fights of 2023
Francis Ngannou vs Jon Jones – “It’s almost been three years for the greatest fighter the sport has ever seen, he (Jones) has had three years away from the octagon. Yes, he’s bulking up to 265 pounds to come back bigger, better, stronger. On the flip side, Francis Ngannou, the man’s terrifying, the hardest hitting guy. But how would he do against Jon Jones? That is the big fight that everyone wants to see.”
Marlon Vera vs Sean O’Malley 2 – “This fight has to happen, because they’ve fought before. Chito won via knockout, kicked the leg, hurt the nerve. I’m a fan of them both, you know, but they gotta fight again. The reason why, is because they are on the trajectory, they are two of the biggest stars in the bantamweight division.”
Colby Covington vs Khamzat Chimaev – “There was rumours of a fight going down between Khamzat and Colby at UFC London in March, when Leon fights Kamaru Usman for the third time. That was going to be the co-main event, it was never officially announced, but that was the rumour. But, it kinda went away, now we’re here with Khamzat saying he can’t get a fight, Colby Covington doesn’t have a fight. There is a lot at stake for both men in this fight.”
Conor McGregor vs Jorge Masvidal – “I don’t believe Conor McGregor has got too much longer in the fight game, he’s been there, done it, smashed it out the goddamn park. I wanna see him against someone that’s gonna put on an exciting fight, I don’t wanna see someone trying to wrestle him. 170 is gonna be the weight class, I don’t want to see him against Khamzat, Colby, Kamaru, I wanna see him in a fun fight.”
