The Cage Warriors 141 card continues to get better and better. Another amazing match-up has been added to the July 22nd event. A lightweight contest between Michal Figlak and Agy Sardari is now on the card. Already full of top-class fights, this one just adds another you’ll need to keep your eye on.
Michal Figlak
Michal Figlak will step into the Cage Warriors ring for the sixth time come the 22nd. Undefeated as a pro sitting at 7-0 (5-0 CW). With a win, he is surely a top contender and potential next in line to challenge for lightweight gold. Of his seven wins, he has finished four, all by TKO/KO.
A dangerous fighter who has tangled with some of the hottest talents the company has to offer. He looks to add another scalp to his already impressive resumé. Born in Poland but fighting out of England, he currently trains out of Trojan Free Fighters based in Worcester.
Agy Sardari
His opponent on the night will be the former Cage Warriors lightweight champion Agy Sardari. An experienced pro at just 29, his current record sits at 15-3. His last fight was outside the promotion, which he won via KO. He now returns and is on the hunt to win his belt back after losing it at CW 124 last year.
Familiar with what it takes to go right to the top. Agy will most likely have the edge in experience in the bout. Fighting out of The Netherlands he trains at Team HoneyBadgers in Eindhoven. Looking to find the form that won him gold, expect a motivated and hungry Sardari come fight night.
No. 1 Contenders Fight
The lightweight title fight will headline the bill. When George Hardwick takes on Kyle Driscoll for vacant gold. Whoever wins might want to keep an eye on this fight as the way the division currently sits the winner of this one might just be the next challenge at 155 lbs.
Another amazing job from the matchmakers. The lightweight division has always been on to watch, and this couldn’t be more true for Cage Warriors 141.
Available to watch on the UFC Fight Pass purchasable for just £6.99 on a monthly subscription. Make sure you tune in on the 22nd as it’s sure to be a night to remember.
