Mike Perry, known for his time in the UFC and current success in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), was involved in a controversial incident after being pulled over by police in Clermont, Florida. The situation took place on October 12th in the early morning, around 1 a.m., and has since gained attention following the release of bodycam footage obtained by TMZ.
The video reveals Perry’s hostile attitude toward the officers from the start of the interaction. As soon as one officer approached the vehicle, he mentioned detecting the smell of alcohol coming from Perry’s side of the car.

“Well, you’re talking a little slow, and I can smell it coming out of this side when I came over here,” the officer says.
In response, Perry replied sarcastically, “Well, you’re talking a little fast.”
The officer replied calmly, saying, “I’m talking a little fast? OK, I’ll slow it down just for you. Is that better?”
Homophobic Slur
Despite the tense exchange, Perry complied with the officer’s request to step out of his vehicle. However, when asked to take a sobriety test, Perry refused, which resulted in the officers arresting him. While being handcuffed, Perry was heard yelling at his wife, Latory, who was sitting in the passenger seat of the car. During this exchange, Perry used homophobic slurs, calling the officers offensive names.
“Latory, I’m getting arrested because I’m not doing this bullsht sobriety test,” Perry told his wife. “Just relax, honey. I’ll be home soon. They know exactly who I am. They’re fcking mad. Fck these fggots! Couple of fggots! They’re a couple of fggots, forget about it!”
According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office records, Perry, 33, has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and refusing to sign a citation requiring a court appearance. His court date is set for October 30th at 8 a.m.
Perry had a notable career in the UFC, where he fought for five years before making a name for himself in BKFC. His transition to bare-knuckle fighting has been successful, and he currently holds the title of BKFC’s “King of Violence.” Perry’s recent highlights include a win over Eddie Alvarez last December and another victory by TKO against Thiago Alves in April.
While Perry continues to shine in BKFC, there’s been tension between him and Conor McGregor, who recently became a minority owner in the promotion. After Perry’s loss in a boxing match to Jake Paul, McGregor publicly “fired” Perry, but he later hinted that the door might still be open for Perry to return to the organization.
