BKFC star, Mike Perry, has been called out to fight by UFC veteran Francisco Trinaldo for a bare-knuckle boxing match.
It’s become clear over the past several months that Mike Perry was made for bare-knuckle boxing. He’s arguably grown in popularity since making the switch from the UFC, with several big names calling him out on a regular basis.
Francisco Trinaldo was released from the UFC at the start of 2023. Ever since, he’s been looking for a new venture and it would now appear that he’s ready for a real challenge. In a recent interview, he took fire at ‘a**hole’ Mike Perry.
Trinaldo Calls Out Mike Perry
“I can’t wait to beat up this a**hole”, Trinaldo told MMA Fighting. “I’m sure I can go to BKFC and put a beating on him. He keeps saying there’s no man out there to fight him, yes here I am. I can’t wait, man. I think that’s a good fight.”
“It would be a bloody fight. I won’t make things easy for him. I was born for this. His boxing is good, but I know mine is better”, claims Trinaldo.
“BKFC will pay me good money, because people want to see me in there after my career in the UFC. I’ve had a lot of fights in the UFC, and now I want to fight at BKFC. And I’m coming for Mike Perry.”
Perry’s Current Schedule
“Platinum” has had three fights under the BKFC banners since he left the UFC in 2021. He’s beaten Julian Lane, Michael “Venom” Page and, most recently, former UFC champion, Luke Rockhold.
Currently he has no official fights lined up. However, it has been confirmed that he is waiting on stand-by as the replacement fighter for the Logan Paul v Dillon Danis boxing fight on October 14th.
