Mike Perry has offered a UFC hall of famer a potential Bare Knuckle bout. After being announced as a backup for Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis
‘Platinum’ has become the face of bare-knuckle boxing with his exploits in the ring. Since making his debut with BKFC in 2022 he’s notched up 3 impressive wins. The first of which came against Julian Lane, he then fought Michael ‘Venom’ Page and most recently knocked out Luke Rockhold’s teeth in April.
It’s safe to say that Mike Perry was born for bare-knuckle boxing. His attitude and brawling fighting style make him perfectly suited to the discipline. Furthermore, he’s just been announced as the backup fighter to Logan Paul vs. Dillion Danis. This shows that he is making a name for himself in the ‘influencer’ boxing scene.
Mike Perry Calls on Michael Bisping for a Fight
In a Twitter exchange earlier today Perry had a curious exchange with UFC hall of fame inductee Michael Bisping.
Bisping kicked of the exchange by stating: “Mike Perry will smoke all these f***ing wannabes”
‘Platinum’ then responded with his own show of gratitude and call out:
“Thanks Bisping, the fact you’ve had one eye such a long time now and have still been a threat, you’ve said you’d have a go bare knuckle idk mate maybe you and I throw down , all love”
Perry Vs Bisping? Could It Happen
Michael Bisping has said previously that he would be willing to box Logan or Jake Paul, and has even received offers. However stepping into the Bare Knuckle ring with Mike Perry is a whole different case. Bisping has given high praise to Perry in the past and has shown admiration for his toughness and fighting style. ‘The Count’ has also said that his body wouldn’t hold up a fight camp, let alone passing medical tests for his eye.
Unfortunately, this seems unlikely to materialise, however, it would be a very fun matchup should Bisping decide to come out of retirement for one last fight. Bisping will probably address this on his podcast later this week so be sure to come back to Combat Sports UK to see his reaction.
