Interview With Mohamed Ben Rahuma
Mohamed, you’re days away from making your MMA debut. How are the nerves holding up as we close in on fight night, or is it all laser focus from here?
I’m excited, focused and ready to get in there. I’m going to showcase my skills and character.
Talk to me, those I’ve yet to speak to. I like to ask them about their journey into MMA and why they walked through the doors of a gym and began training.
I love the sport and want to prove my self-beliefs right.
Although you’ve not made the walk yet, I assume you’ve trained for a decent amount of time. What is one valuable lesson that training and grinding every day has taught you?
I’ve been training for just over two years now. Training every day has helped me stay disciplined and stay self-accountable, working towards a bigger goal in the future by tackling smaller goals every day.

Debuts can be a daunting but special moment in one’s MMA journey. Have any of the guys from the gym been giving you any solid advice or pointers ahead of Saturday?
My coaches and teammates have all shown amazing guidance and support, so I can’t thank them enough.
I can imagine you have multiple thoughts, feelings and scenarios playing through your mind when you step in there. What are you expecting when you step inside the cage on Saturday?
I’m ready for anything and any scenario.
Saturday night at AFC 32, the Almighty viewers are going to see Muhamed Ben Rahuma step in there for the very first time. What can they expect, and why should they remain seated?
They can expect to see a high-level performance and enjoy the showcase.
Last Words
Finally, do you have any last words for your opponent, Khalil Selby, before stepping in there?
