A women’s flyweight bout between ‘Meatball’ Molly McCann and Hannah Goldy has been added to UFC London on July 23.
Following the UFC’s last successful trip to the UK in March, Dana White has decided to head back to England’s capital.
July’s card will be headlined by a heavyweight showdown between Curtis Blaydes and Tom Aspinall.
UFC London also sees the return of Britain’s Darren Till when he faces Jack Hermansson in a middleweight clash.
Muhammad Mokaev will also be competing in a flyweight clash against Charles Johnson.
Molly McCann Vs Hannah Goldy Set For UFC London
McCann was in attendance at last weekend’s UFC PPV card in Phoenix and hinted that she may be competing on July 23.
However, ‘Meatball’ Molly declined to announce who she would be facing on July’s card.
Finally, the Liverpool native has a fight booked against Goldy (6-2).
Molly was last seen in action in March on the UFC’s last trip to England.
On that night, she produced a sensational knockout over Luana Carolina in the third round.
It’s fair to say that McCann’s knockout win will go down as one of the best KOs of the year.
Chasing her third consecutive win, McCann’s confidence will be through the roof heading into July’s showdown with Goldy.
As for Molly’s opponent, Goldy is coming off of a submission victory over Emily Whitmire back in September.
Looking to make it 2-2 with the promotion, Hannah will be desperate to cause an upset in London.
A win for either fighter could be enough to earn a spot in the top fifteen.
