UFC newcomer, Muhammad Mokaev, sent a tweet directed at the UFC and Mick Maynard, asking for a fight with Kai-Kara France to be put in motion in place of the Australian getting a title shot.
Muhammad Mokaev (6-0-0, 1NC) made his highly anticipated UFC debut weeks ago. The Wigan-based fighter swiftly submitted unranked Cody Durden (12-4-1), a four-fight veteran at the UFC. Kai-Kara France (24-9-0, 1NC) is a genuine title contender ranked 2nd in the UFC flyweight rankings. He is coming off three straight wins against the likes of Cody Garbrant, Askar Askarov and Rogerio Bontorin.
The UFC has agreed to remake the fight between Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo for the fourth time. Ariel Helwani, along with other MMA outlets, announced that the UFC is looking to have them fight in July. This means that Kai-Kara France is without a fight, and if he decides to wait for a title shot, it is not likely to come about quickly.
