Nate Diaz is following the dispute between Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov, and it doesn’t appear to be ending anytime soon.
After Lobov commenced legal proceedings against McGregor for a share in Proper No. Twelve whiskey, it was revealed he was also trying to sue McGregor and his father for defamation. In now-deleted tweets reported by TalkSport, Conor tweeted, “Artem is trying to sue me and my father for defamation now as well ahahaja oh lord, god bless,”.
He then returned to Twitter and posted a since-deleted voice note, calling on Lobov to settle the legal disputes in the gym:
“This is a call out to Artem ‘The F**** Fairy-Pad’ Lobov. I’m challenging you to a fight tonight, 10:30pm. I’ll meet you at SBG Concorde and we’ll fight for the whole lot. You’ve got lawyers messaging me about defamation and all this suing. You’re a little blouse, mate. I’ll see you at SBG Concorde at 10pm tonight and we’ll fight for the whole lot. Answer this call out, you little blouse!”
It appears that Conor was in fact, serious in his offer after he turned up at SBG Concorde:
A Keen Interest
One man who was interested in whether or not the fight at SBG would take place was Nate Diaz:
Of course, Conor and Nate have a legendary rivalry that currently stands at one win a piece. Diaz is currently exploring options outside of the UFC after being released following his win over Tony Ferguson at UFC 279. Conor still believes a trilogy fight will eventuate, however.
This isn’t the first, and certainly won’t be the last time, that Conor and Nate trade barbs on social media. It seems that until their trilogy is settled, their rivalry will continue to burn.
Do you think a Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz trilogy will ever happen?
