Nate Diaz snubbed Jake Paul’s $10m offer of an MMA rematch in the PFL PPV SuperFight Division claiming “I don’t fight for that organisation”.
Diaz Snubs PFL Rematch Idea.
Speaking with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Diaz claimed that if the pair were to rematch in MMA then it would most likely be in the UFC or some kind of co-promotion. Diaz insisted that the pair would not be fighting in the PFL PPV SuperFight Division.
“Err… Yeah, I don’t fight for that organisation, if we’re gonna do something, we’re gonna do something real.” Asked if this meant the fight would take place in the UFC, Diaz replied, “Yeah or a real fight, if anything.” Diaz also did not rule out self-promoting or co-promoting the event.
Diaz also stated that that his next bout would likely be within MMA and possibly back with the UFC. The trilogy bout with Conor McGregor is a fight that will always be available for Diaz and would more than likely be the kind of fight to pull him back into the UFC.

Nate surprised and infuriated Jake Paul recently when he abruptly stood up and walked out of their face to face interview with Helwani. When asked what his reason was for this, Diaz smiled and claimed it wasn’t his fault and that when he came back to the table, everybody had left (Helwani & Paul).
Diaz appeared to be in good spirits and was seen to be signing autographs for fans throughout the interview. One fan appeared to pass two marijuana joints to Diaz, who when asked by Helwani if they were cigarettes, replied, “Cig-a-weed”.
When speaking with MMA media recently, Diaz had claimed that “sometimes, less is more” regarding his promotion of the fight. Referring to his past experience of promoting big fights with the likes of Jorge Masvidal and Conor McGregor, Diaz said that the best way for Jake Paul to move forward with the promotion of the fight was “you do you, and I’ll do me”.

Nate seemed to be in a what you could describe as a jovial mood and was happy to give his opinion on a potential matchup between social media icons, Elon Musk & Mark Zuckerberg. Diaz said, “I don’t think they should fight. I think they should be nice to each other.” Diaz stated that if they wanted to have some kind of competition then perhaps a grappling match would be better suited to the pair.

Ariel questioned whether Diaz was frustrated by the fact that his idea for a BMF (Baddest Mother F****r) belt had been taken by the UFC and commercialised. Diaz replied saying that he had never intended to create an “actual belt” and that he was simply trying to promote a fight between himself and Jorge Masvidal. He went on to say that he actually found the belt “corny” and that he is still the “one and only” BMF. Diaz also claimed that he didn’t think that Dustin Poirier & Justin Gaethje should have been eligible for the belt.

Nate Diaz will face Jake Paul in a boxing bout this Saturday night, live on DAZN PPV. Diaz is coming into the bout off the back of a win against Tony Ferguson, whilst Paul is coming back after his first defeat against Tommy Fury.
