All-out war at Featherweight between Nate Landwehr and David Onama. After being rocked and dropped in the first Nate rallied big in the second. Grinding down Onama using every tool in his locker to tire the Ugandan.
He had David in all sorts of trouble with both strikes and submission. After several choke attempts and ground and pound he almost had the fight finished.
On the stool, David Onama said he couldn’t see. After a brief word with his corner, he came out fighting. After knocking Onama down, Nate circles the octagon and cheers on the crowd. Onama swings back big and once again hurts Nate. The fight ends with Onama exploding and knocking Nate down again.
Entertaining throughout, Nate Landwehr and David Onama just made thousands of fans.
What’s Next?
Both have risen their stocks plenty. But for Nate Landwehr, he has set himself as one to watch at Featherweight. A crazy fight for every second of the 15 minutes it lasted.
Showing he can be both the hammer and the nail. This is Nate’s “The Trains” coming out party. At 34, he moves to 16-4. He has finished nine of them wins.
After such an exciting performance he’s in pole position to call his shot. After his mic he mentioned Shane Burgos, that fight would be mad.
