Nathaniel Wood moves to 2-0 at Featherweight and claims a massive scalp in Charles Jourdain at UFC Paris. In an extremely entertaining fight, both men showed their worth. However, it was Nathaniel who edged it and earned the decision.
Fought in a phone box for the majority of the fight. Both men kept in close attempting to land short, sharp shots. It was a game of dirty boxing and trips and it was Wood who did this better.
Another impressive display from the Brit he proves he’s a force at Featherweight and can compete. Landing the bigger shots he had Charles hurt several times. When in close he was landing consistently and avoiding damage well.
Not only proving he can strike, he used trips and takedowns as well. Scoring five overall, he kept top position when he got the fight to the mat.
