Fresh off his win at UFC London in July. Nathaniel Wood will return to the cage in a Featherweight clash vs Charles Jourdain. A big step up for “The Prospect” at Featherweight.
Charles Jourdain is coming off a controversial decision loss against the #14 Shane Burgos. Two creative and electric fighters this is one to watch and has FOTN written all over it.
Nathaniel Wood
Recently making the jump from Bantamweight to Featherweight. His first outing was a sensation. Taking on Charles Rosa he looked untouchable and put on a clinic in a dominant decision victory.
The 29-year-old will look to establish himself as a force in the division. 18-5 as a pro, he holds a wealth of top experience. A former Cage Warriors champion, since entering the UFC he has gone 5-2.
Very well-rounded Nathaniel can and will compete in all areas of MMA. With 14 finishes to his name, nine via KO/TKO and five via submission he’s as dangerous as they come.
Charles Jourdain
Taking on the Brit will be Canada’s Jourdain. Recently competing for a place in the top 15. He narrowly missed out, losing a majority decision. Hoping to bounce back in this one and prove he’s worthy of a ranking.
At 26, he’s still incredibly young, despite having nine UFC appearances already. With a professional record of 13-5, he’s had his ups and downs but he always entertains.
Never in a boring fight 12 wins have come inside the distance. Eight by KO/TKO and four via submission. A true mixed martial artist his unorthodox style always delivers must-watch MMA.
The Fight
This is one hell of a fight on paper. Both men have many tools in their arsenals, whether it be on the feet or mat. With an already great UFC Paris card, this fight might steal the show.
Expect a banger at Featherweight when these two talents show down. A big win for either could propel them up the division and onto bigger and better things.
Who takes this Featherweight banger?
