OKTAGON 49: Live Results & Highlights (video)

OKTAGON 49 goes down in Cologne on Saturday night! Europes MMA leader puts on a stacked card in the Lanexess Arena.

Featuring in the main event is a clash of heavyweights looking to win the vacant belt. #1 Hatef Moeil (14-4-0) takes on #2 Lazar Todev (9-5-0) in a massive heavyweight clash. German MMA legend Christian Eckerlin (15-5-0) takes on the Brazilian veteran Leandro ‘Apollo’ Silva (27-11-0) in the co-main event. Middleweights clash as #3 Kerim Engizek (19-4-0) goes toe to toe with last-minute replacement Adam Horvath (10-7-0).

There’s also significant British involvement on the card. Corey Fry makes his Oktagon debut against hotly-tipped German prospect Deniz Ilbay. Matthew Bonner also makes his OKTAGON debut after signing from Cage Warriors he takes on another home talent Cihad Akipa. Finally OKTAGON Challenge Team England competitor Jake McHugh makes his pr debut against Ivan Klevets in one of the early fights of the night.

The event starts with the free prelims on the OKTAGON MMA YouTube channel from 4.30 PM.
