OKTAGON 59: Live Results & Highlights (video)

Europe’s biggest MMA promotion is back on Saturday. The Tipsport Gamechanger quarter-finals take centre stage.

OKTAGON 59 plays host to some huge fights for the promotion. Top of the bill sees the current lightweight champion Ronald Paradeiser take on Daniel Torres. Paradeiser is unbeaten in 8 bouts and claimed the title back in December with a finish of Ivan Buchinger at OKTAGON 50. The Slovak beat Attila Korkmaz by split decision in the previous round. His opponent Daniel Torres is a PFL & KSW veteran and comes in off a unanimous decision win against Vladimir Langal.

In the co-main event promotional star Losene Keita will take on Serbian mauler Predrag Bogdanovic. Keita is 13-1 in his professional career and has made easy work of 2 divisions in OKTAGON. In the previous round, he defeated Agy Sardari by unanimous decision. Bogdanovic is coming off an impressive victory over much-hyped Hafeni Nafuka, the Serb dominated Hafeni on the ground and secured a convincing decision.

Elsewhere on the card Andreas Michailidis looks to make a statement at middleweight as he takes on the #5 ranked Piotr Wawrzzyniak.#1 Bantamweight Jonas Magard, originally scheduled for a title fight on this card takes on debutant Josh Hill.
