Sweden’s Oliver Enkamp returns to the Bellator cage on May 13th as the promotion returns to London. Enkamp takes on 12-4 American Mark Lemminger, who looks to return to the win column following a first-round TKO loss against Neiman Gracie.
Former UFC fighter Enkamp returns from a decision loss to Kyle Crutchmer in December, his first since 2018. Previously the Sweden international had been on a three-fight win streak. All of which he had finished in the first round.
Oliver Enkamp to Add to Highlight Reel?
Although it didn’t go to plan, the Swede built up a fanbase throughout his UFC run and prior. This was largely due to his exciting Karate based style, with a flashy, kick heavy arsenal. Enkamp himself feels he has developed into a more well-rounded fighter since his UFC run. Since then, it’s hard to argue with him with two first-round submissions.
Talking to the BBC before his last outing he told them:
“I had two fights in the UFC and looking back, I probably wasn’t mature enough for that level at that time. But if I didn’t have those two losses and learning opportunities, I wouldn’t have these three wins.
“It really developed me as a fighter and I’ve rebuilt myself as a complete fighter.
The fight is added to an already stacked Bellator London card, with UK striking sensation Michael “Venom” Page taking on undefeated 26-0 Ukrainian Yaroslav Amosov in a 5 round main event for the welterweight championship.
The BBC will carry the UK live coverage, with the prelims on the BBC iPlayer and main card coverage to follow BBC Three. For all your need to know information on the Bellator/BBC deal, click here.
