Omran Chaaban has made a victorious Cage Warriors return after nearly 3 years away. The Finland born, Dublin based fighter managed to submit Jack Dadames in the first round, moving to 3-1as a professional. The fighter trains out of Team KF Martial Arts, boasting some of Ireland’s finest young fighters on their roster.
As the bout got underway Jack Dadames tried to assert himself but looked uncomfortable on the feet. Chaaban managed to use his reach to maintain distance until Dadames managed to get a nice trip, landing in side control. Dadames almost took the Finnish nationals back before Chaaban got to his feet and secured a trip of his own.
Dadames secured the rubber guard, but Omran Chaaban managed to pass to half-guard. Chaaban landed a few elbows before Dadames got to his feet. His neck was being held in a guillotine position by Chaaban. Dadames tried to shake hisChaaban off and secure a takedown. Inadvertently though, he ended up being trapped in an anaconda choke as the combatants fell to the mat.
Dadames tried to fight it and escape for as long as he could, but Chaaban simply had it locked in far too tightly to escape. An injured Omran Chaaban limped to his feet victorious, securing the first-round submission.
This was the second stoppage win in a row for “The Lebanese Gorilla”.
