Highly-Anticipated Debut
ONE Championship, the world’s largest martial arts organization, makes its highly anticipated debut on U.S. soil with ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes 3 on Friday, May 5th, 2023, at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.
The main event of the evening will feature a trilogy bout for the ONE Flyweight World Championship, as Demetrious Johnson is set to defend his title against the always dangerous Adriano Moraes. Johnson is widely considered one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time, while Moraes is the former ONE Flyweight World Champion.
A Bit Of History at ONE Fight Night 10
The two men have already met twice before, with each man winning one fight. In their first meeting at ONE on TNT 1 in April 2021, Moraes knocked out Johnson in the second round to win the ONE Flyweight World Championship. However, Johnson avenged his loss in their second meeting at ONE on Prime Video 1 in August 2022, knocking out Moraes in the fourth round to regain the title.
The third and final meeting between Johnson and Moraes will surely be a must-see for mixed martial arts fans. Both men are at the top of their game, and they are both hungry for victory. The winner of this fight will take the trilogy and be crowned the undisputed ONE Flyweight World Champion.
A Night Of Great Fights
In addition to the main event, One Fight Night 10 will feature several other exciting bouts. In the co-main event, Rodtang Jitmuangnon will defend his ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Championship against Edgar Tabares. Rodtang is the current champion and is considered one of the greatest Muay Thai fighters in the world today. Tabares is a rising star looking to dethrone Rodtang and become the new ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion.
The rest of the card is also stacked with talent, from top to bottom, including an exciting grappling matchup between Mikey Musumeci and Osamah Almarwai for the ONE Flyweight Grappling World Championship, Reiner de Ridder vs. Tye Ruotolo in a middleweight grappling bout, and the much-anticipated return of “Super” Sage Northcutt as he takes on Ahmed Mujtaba in a lightweight MMA bout.
