A Return to Dieting For Paddy Pimblett
Pimblett has made his love of food no secret since beginning his fight career. In fact, after beating Kazula Vargas last month, he indulged in a 10,700 calorie feast.
Despite this, Paddy seems to be cutting back ahead of a possible UFC return this upcoming Summer. In a recent interview with Dave Schmulenson – aka The Schmo – that he is officially back on his diet.
The UFC star stated he is still “a bit of a balloon” and was actually heavier than he thought. He said that he thought someone else was “messing with the scales”, adding: “diet started yesterday.”
UFC London
It has just been announced that the UFC will return to London on July 23rd. After the success of their event in March, it would be no surprise to see “The Baddy” make his return then.
He told Schmulenson that the UFC’s return to his home country is part of the reason why he has returned to his diet. Fans openly pointed out his weight gain after his first UFC win in September 2021.
There have been no announcements over who would be appearing on the London card in July as of now. However, there are reports that the event will be headlined by Brit Tom Aspinall and heavyweight contender Curtis Blaydes.
