Paddy Pimblett has been called out by a fellow contender, who has promised to draw more tears from him after an emotional night at the O2 Arena.
UFC London, headlined by Leon Edwards and Sean Brady, was a bad night for fans of English MMA.
It was also a bad night for Pimblett, who had to see his close friend and training partner Molly McCann retire from the sport after a first-round submission loss to the debuting Alexia Thainara.
‘The Baddy’ was seen with teary eyes as McCann, the first English woman to win inside the UFC, laid her gloves down in the Octagon.
One UFC 155-er saw this and used it as a method of making a callout, that man being Mateusz Gamrot.
The Polish grappler was last in action against Dan Hooker at UFC 305, suffering a first defeat in four. Pimblett, however, is still unbeaten as a UFC fighter and faces Michael Chandler next at UFC 314 in Miami.
In an X post, Gamrot said: “P****y paddy will cry the same way after our fight.. we know it! @PaddyTheBaddy”.

The Liverpool duo will be forever intertwined within the MMA history books, sharing multiple moments on cards together.
The pair first became friends after meeting at the Next Generation MMA gym on Merseyside. They stood side by side as they grew through the regional circuit and then into the UFC.
Pimblett paid tribute to his friend in a heartwarming Instagram post after her shock announcement.
He said: “Heartbreaking night last night watching my big sister retire.
“Been there with her from the start and will always be there this may be the end of her fighting career but it’s far from the end of mine and her friendship. That’s till death do us part.
“UKMMA women’s legend first English woman to get a win in the UFC and has one of the best knockouts in women’s UFC and combat sports history her legacy will live on forever.
“Emotional isn’t even the word for last night but even when I was crying the meatball will never fail to make me laugh when she said ‘haven’t done bad for a lesbo who was working in Subway have I’.
” Love u @meatballmolly and always will me big sis”.
