Renato Moicano appeared on this morning’s Believe You Me podcast hosted by Michael Bisping in which he called out Paddy Pimblett.
Bisping asked Moicano what was next for the 13th-ranked lightweight. His response was, “Paddy Pimblett. I think that’s a fight because today he called me out. That’s not going to be, you cannot say my name and now he’s going to get the smoke.”
Renato Moicano defeated Drew Dober via unanimous decision at UFC Vegas 85 and has heard enough from the scouser after he was targeted on social media.
How Renato Moicano vs. Paddy Pimblett Came About
“He went over to my Instagram because I was saying he should fight Drew Dober. Paddy Pimblett with this cheek, doing like that, I’m going to smoke him.
“He [Paddy Pimblett] said, ‘Why would I fight Drew Dober’ and he tagged my name. As soon as I saw that I thought well now you’ve started s*** blood. I was not talking about your name.”
Pimblett has made a habit of talking his way into trouble as he also started a rivalry with UFC featherweight title challenger Ilia Topuria who competes against Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 298.
Renato Moicano issued a warning to the Liverpudlian: “Guess what if the UFC puts me against this ***** in Brazil at UFC 301 I can give it to you I will finish this ****** in the first round.”
“Maybe he’s afraid to go to Brazil. Maybe Brazil is too violent for him. I can go to London. They have a UFC in London and guess what. I will beat your ass in front of the Queen, not anymore, the king. I know you’re an England guy but don’t give me that shit brother.”
‘The Baddy’ Pimblett’s most recent fight was against Tony Ferguson, whom he beat at UFC 296 via unanimous decision. He will now be looking into the rankings to try and make an impression towards the top of the decision.
