Since moving over from Cage Warriors, Paddy Pimblett has taken the UFC by storm. People either love or hate the Englishman, but wherever they stand, they will tune in to see him fight. He will take on a legend of the UFC, Tony Ferguson, in December at UFC 296. When speaking on the “Believe You Me” podcast with Michael Bisping, Flyweight contender Muhammad Mokaev had some harsh words to say about Pimblett.
Muhammad Mokaev On Paddy Pimblett
Mokaev is a fantastic fighter who looks to be an exciting prospect in the UFC flyweight division. He has a perfect professional record of 10-0 with one no-contest. As he is only 23, he still has much time to grow and develop as a fighter. Furthermore, he looks to be on track to become a champion in the MMA juggernaut. He will fight Tim Elliott next Saturday at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi. Speaking on Michael Bisping’s podcast, Mokaev went in on Pimblett.
“Paddy is not here, so I’ll be cool.”
“I want to f*ck him up bad! I don’t like this guy. I beat a couple of guys from his gym; he’s still upset about that.”
Mokeav On Pimblett Vs Tony Ferguson
Mokaev also gave his thoughts on Pimblett versus Ferguson and said that if Ferguson loses, it’s time to retire.
“Tony is good…like Ferguson is not like people put a cross around him, but I mean he was doing good against Chandler, he was doing good. I think he can beat Paddy. Paddy is not a great fighter; his chin is up, and he shoots like I don’t know. He lost the last fight, too.”
Then Mokaev Said this about Ferguson if he loses.
“I think he should retire after this fight, and he earned a lot of money; what else does he need?”
