Paddy Pimblett Predicts UFC Fight Night
Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett who is at the UFC event this weekend gave his prediction for Leon Edwards VS Sean Brady. Speaking to Bloody Elbow, the Liverpool fighter said; “Overcoming any loss, no matter where you are in your career, you always want to get back on track. Going back-to-back losses is going to be tough, especially with him (Edwards) being a former champion.
“He’s just lost his belt, so his next fight is going to be very important for where he goes in his life.
Pimblett went on to say; “I feel like he struggled against Belal Muhammad with the time difference. Even though he was fighting in the UK, he fought on US time as he fought at 4am – I’ve been there before and done that, I know how tough that was — it sucked.”
‘Baddy’ Prepares for Michael Chandler Showdown
The UFC announced that Michael Chandler would face off against Paddy Pimblett, a fight that has fans excited. On one hand, Michael Chandler is a veteran of the sport, having faced off against the best lightweights in the world. The American, renowned for his post-fight interviews, is looking to put himself back into title contention. Having lost his last two fights against Charles Oliveira and Dustin Poirier, Chandler is on a barren run in his career.
However, Paddy Pimblett will be looking at the reward of beating a formidable opponent such as Chandler. A win over the American looks set to put the Liverpool fighter into the top five in the division. Blessed with a sound grappling Pimblett will be hoping to withstand the American’s college wrestling style.
