The Professional Fighters League (PFL 20) is scheduled to take place at the Hulu Theatre at Madison Square Garden, New York, on November 25, 2022.
On what should be a great night of fights, let’s dive into the three fights we have picked out for this event to hopefully help you better understand where to place your cash.
PFL 10: Julia Budd vs Aspen Ladd – Juila Budd WIN 37/20
The first move is Julia Budd welcoming Aspen Ladd into the PFL promotion. Julia has only suffered three professional MMA losses – to Amanda Nunes, Ronda Rousey, and Cris Cyborg. Therefore, she is a credible fighter. If you’re a fan of the UFC, Aspen Ladd is someone you should know. She missed weight by two pounds in her most recent UFC fight (UFC Fight Night 210 in September). The weight cut had been a problem three times before, so this was not the first time. As a result, the UFC tore up Ladd’s contract, and she now has a fresh start.
PFL 10: Brendan Loughnane vs Bubba Jenkins – Brendan Loughnane WIN 10/17
Brendan Loughnane is in contention to be named the PFL’s male fighter of the year, but he faces a challenge. The Manchester-based fighter has already won three fights in 2022, which is pretty damn astounding. Bubba Jenkins has won three of his three fights this year, including his most recent victory over Ryoji Kudo. Jenkins’ ability to fight freestyle and adapt to the fight’s flow is what makes him so dangerous. He also has a strong wrestling background that he can always rely on.
Kayla Harrison vs Larissa Pacheco – Kayla Harrison WIN 1/7
The judo specialist Kayla Harrison is getting better and better with each fight. She has won two of her last three fights by way of arm triangle choke and one by way of TKO, which shows you just how dangerous she is. Her record of 15 wins and 0 losses is seriously impressive in any MMA organization, and it will take something truly special to upset that. In three fights this season (year), Pacheco has won all three by way of first-round TKO, which is extremely remarkable. These two have a history together; Harrison prevailed in their prior match at PFL 1 in 2019. Pacheco won her next two matches and was given the opportunity to challenge Kayla Harrison for the 2019 PFL women’s lightweight championship. Pacheco was unable to answer, and as a result, Harrison was declared the winner and took home the trophy.
