PFL Europe 2 takes place in Berlin, Germany on Saturday 8th July as we see the best Bantamweights, Lightweights and Women’s Flyweights Europe has to offer as they compete to win the Season and a cash prize of $100,000 which takes place at Dublin in Autumn. Here we take a look at the fighters to watch competing at PFL Europe 2.
Fighters to Watch on PFL Europe 2
Lewis McGrillen
Training out of Manchester Top Team, Lewis McGrillen is currently undefeated with a record of 7-0-0. He showed how skilled he was in his last win at PFL Europe 1 where he got a KO victory. McGrillen has a very explosive style with serious one-punch knockout power. And it shows with having a 100% of his wins coming by KO/TKO. With an exciting style, McGrillen is also very skilled on the ground. With his goal of stuffing takedowns and knocking you out on the feet. McGrillen is a future star of MMA and is looking to get his hand raised.
Connor Hughes
Connor Hughes is Undefeated with a record of 6-0-0, Training out of The MMA Academy Liverpool. Hughes hopes to join the scouse invasion of MMA by picking up a win at the PFL. Being well-rounded having both KO/TKO and Submissions on his record. Hughes is an exciting fighter to watch as he is pressure heavy and looks to impose his game plan to get the win and extend his undefeated streak on Saturday night.
Ali Taleb
Ali Taleb is another Undefeated fighter with a record of 8-0-0. Being victorious last time out in the PFL getting a submission win. With four knockouts and three submissions showing how diverse of a fighter he is. With very technical striking and slick submissions, Taleb is ready to fight whether it’s in a grappling match or a stand-up war. Taleb is a tough fight for any opponent and Taleb will be looking to showcase his skillset.
Francesco Nuzzi
Francesco Nuzzi has a record of 9-1-0 with 1 no contest, which came in his debut fight for PFL when an accidental eye poke ended the fight in round 2. Nuzzi is looking to overcome that no-contest and get the fans thinking about his upcoming fight. Where he is looking to showcase his skillset with his well-rounded style with venomous striking and slick grappling. Nuzzi has a tough opponent, but his experience and skill set will lead to a good main event.
Moktar Benkaci
Moktar Benkaci is the most experienced fighter on the card making his professional debut back in 2010. With a record of 20-7-0 with 35% of his wins being from KO/TKO and 35% coming from submissions. His losses have only been by decision with none of his opponents being able to finish him within the three rounds. Training out of London Shootfighters Benkaci trains with the best fighters in the UK always looking to improve himself. He will be looking to show the fans his skillset after his last fight in the PFL came as a no-contest due to an accidental eye poke. With his mix of experience and skillset, Moktar Menkaci is the dark horse with a potential fight-of-the-night contender.
