Raul Rosas Jr proves the hype is real as the youngest-ever UFC fighter defeats Jay Perrin with an emphatic first-round RNC at UFC 282.
Rosas Jr is a huge problem at just 18 years of age. Wasting no time to get the takedown. Once it hits the mat it is game over for his opponent. Using his supremely good grappling he takes the back almost instantly.
Working for a choke for almost two minutes he locks it in and earns the tap in the first round. As good as a UFC win gets in a flawless display. Taking no damage and securing a read naked choke in the first. Wow.
What’s Next?
Raul Rosas Jr has now become the youngest fighter and winner in UFC history. At just 18-years-old he is the future should things go his way. Fighting in an incredibly talented Bantamweight division there is a whole host of opposition he could tangle with next.
Winning his debut against a solid test the only way is up from here. With all the time in the world on his side, more fights inside the octagon are imperative for the growth of Raul.
Maybe with aspirations of breaking even more records Rosas Jr could look to become the youngest champion ever. If so, he still has a whopping five years ahead of him.
More fights against established names are definitely the way to go for Raul. Building a UFC quality resume while gaining experience will prove invaluable for the youngest fighter ever.
