As the countdown to her upcoming fight on Almighty Fighting Championship continues in Deeside, Wales, Raushan Sandhu shares her insights in our interview:
“Absolutely, I’m a huge advocate for activity in this sport. This will be my 4th fight in a 9 month period (not including a K1 bout that I had in August). I believe this is the main reason why I am able to perform under pressure, it’s just another day at the office for me.”
Sandhu emphasizes the importance of staying active in the sport to gain valuable experience, highlighting her consistent presence in the cage.
“1000%, without a shadow of a doubt, I will end this fight inside the distance. On the feet, on the ground, in the clinch, I couldn’t care less. I’m a complete mixed martial artist and I will put that on full display when I step inside that cage on March 30th.”
Raushan Sandhu on Oscar Turner
Expressing confidence in her abilities, Sandhu assures that she will secure another victory, showcasing her versatility as a mixed martial artist.
“Yes, I’ve seen Oscar’s performance and despite the loss he looks like a well rounded fighter who is comfortable in all areas of the sport. I haven’t put too much emphasis on that fight however as it was 9 months ago and I’m sure I’ll be facing a much better version of him. I know he’ll have put the work in to fill those holes in his game and it’s my job to expose and take advantage of new ones.”
Sandhu acknowledges her opponent’s skills and anticipates facing an improved version of Oscar Turner, emphasizing her readiness to adapt and capitalize on any weaknesses.
“Finally, I will finish this fight inside the distance but, the good news for Oscar is that, he can decide how he gets stopped. If he stands in front of me I guarantee I Knock him unconscious; if wants to grapple, I’ll choke him unconscious within 1 minute of the grappling exchange. Either way… he’s going to sleep!”
Sandhu confidently predicts a finish in her upcoming bout, showcasing her determination to secure victory by any means necessary.
