Reece McEwan vs Sam Spencer
Reece McEwan (3-1-0) looks to add a 4th win to his pro MMA career in his Cage Warriors debut. He had a fantastic amateur career from 2015-to 2019, in which he totalled eight wins and just one loss. He has had success as a pro so far, starting off with a three-fight win streak; however that was broken late last year in a submission loss to Luke Westwood. Reece has a bunch of tricky submissions that he can pull on his opponent. In his amateur career, he won 3 fights via armbar. Now, as a pro, he has an Arm Triangle Choke and a D’arce Choke to show. In 2020, he fought under Evolution of Combat, then Rise and Conquer and will now be on the biggest stage of his career at Cage Warriors.
Sam Spencer (6-2-0) has won on UK promotions such as Budo FC and FCC. Hnow looks for one under Cage Warriors. He is no stranger to a TKO finish. He currently has 4 of those on his pro record. After almost three years, this will be his return to the cage and a great stage to do it on. His most recent fight was a TKO win over Ryan Holdham at FCC 23. Sam fought at Cage Warriors 88 in 2017. The fight was stopped between rounds one and two as the doctor saw him not fit to continue. All in all, Sam is a force to be reckoned and his fight next month will be one to keep an eye on.
