Renato Moicano has criticised Paul Craig saying that the Scotsman is “f**king terrible,” despite beating Andre Muniz via TKO in his middleweight debut at UFC Fight Night London, last weekend.
In a video where he predicted the outcomes of this UFC 291’s main card fights, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Moicano had some choice words for ‘Bearjew’. “Man, Paul Craig is terrible,” said Moicano. “I know you guys are going to roast me for saying that, but he’s f**king terrible.”
Both men are Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts and this was one of the areas that the featherweight attacked. “Even his top position in the first round, he got reversed very easily.”
But the scathing comments didn’t stop there. The Brazilian said that he was surprised that Muniz sat in the guard for so long because Craig’s stand-up game is also “terrible.”
“I thought he would lose, and he was losing the fight,” Moicano said when talking about the fight. “They got in a scramble or something like that. I don’t remember what happened but he got on top and he won by TKO. But make no mistake, he’s terrible.”
Renato Moicano on Paul Craig Middleweight Debut
After his win last weekend, the Scotsman talked about potential matchups between him and some of the biggest names in the 185lbs division like Khamzat Chimaev or Bo Nickal. Craig even said, after his win over Muniz, that Chimaev, who, like Nickal, is an undefeated mixd martial artist, would “get triangled” if he tried to to take him down.
It’s safe to say that Moicano doesn’t agree with his fellow black belt. He said that Chimaev and Nickal would both “destroy” Craig if they were to fight, despite Nickal having only made two appearances in the UFC- plus two fights on Dana White’s Contender Series.
