It Takes Two to Dance
A common phrase we hear in combat sports is that it takes two to dance. With Tsarukyan out and Islam Makhachev being the dominant champion he is there are not many who are jumping at the chance to take a short-notice fight against him. even with the lightweight title being up for grabs. Moicano stepped up not only for a fight but in an event-saving way. There are very few names that take a title shot on short notice and even fewer a title shot against Makhachev, if Moicano can get this done he will etch his name among the best.

Renato Moicano Could Solve the Problem
First, they whispered his name as a replacement possibility now they believe Money could solve the problem! Couple that with the fact his Jiu-Jitsu is great and striking and just as polished. Money Moicano is a stylistic nightmare for the current champion. With his last two wins coming by TKO finishes over Benoit Saint-Denis and Jalin Turner. Money Moicano just might be the face the UFC and the fans were looking for this weekend.
Injury Is Part of the Sport
Unfortunately for Tsarukyan injury is just as much part of the sport as the jab. So far there has been no news on how long Tsarukyan will be out. Or if he will get his rematch with Makhachev. All we can do is wish him a speedy recovery. At the same time, getting ready for the man who will wage war in his place. Although it is a bittersweet moment Makhachev vs Moicano is happening, will this be Dillashaw vs Barao all over? Or will the champion continue his quest for double-champ status?
