Supreme Cage Fighting Championship 17 is quickly approaching, and with that, we have a late dropout, which has cracked the door wide open with a title opportunity for Robbie Kennedy!
Originally for the card’s main event, we were slated to have Andy Manzolo defending his SCFC middleweight title against Justin Moore; unfortunately, he had to withdraw due to a sternum injury. However, the 100+ fights veteran has a new challenger in the form of TNT.
Andy “Predator” Manzolo (25-9) vs Robbie “TNT” Kennedy (2-2)
Manzolo is currently riding a two-fight win-steak, with both wins coming by way of KO, which make up a third of his total career KOs so far. He also has three decisions, and an incredible 16 submission wins throughout his career so far. This man is dangerous in any position, no matter how you look at it.
His new opponent in Kennedy stands at 6 foot 5 and has some very dangerous striking, whilst also being incredibly precise and accurate. TNT made headlines in his last fight at Almighty Fighting Championship 23, where he KO’d Rhino Daley in the first round via a huge front kick after controlling the whole of the fight prior on the feet and the ground. Whilst his MMA record is only 2-2, he has a wealth of experience in Muay Thai, where he has been demonstrating his deadly stand-up game. Kennedy is also riding a two-fight win streak, and with his short-notice title shot, he will absolutely be looking to extend that and make a huge name for himself.
