Roman Kopylov rallies late to finish Alessio Di Chirico in a competitive fight at UFC Paris. A great fight at Middleweight between these two, but it’s the Russian who pulls out the goods and gets the third-round stoppage.
In an almost all stand-up affair, both men had moments. It was Roman who took control early, using his clear speed advantage to land and avoids strikes. He was looking sharp and landing well with kicks to the body.
De Chirico came out swinging in the second and had success. He gains control late in the round and controls in the clinch. Roman didn’t look out of the fight though and was still very active.
In the third Alessio’s gas tank seemed to be slowing down. Whereas Roman Kopylov was still as active as the first. He would push forward and lands a barrage of punches. It is a combination of hooks that drop the Italian face first on the canvas.
What’s next for Roman Kopylov?
