Ryan Garcia to Fight Manny Pacquiao in Late 2024
“I am fighting Manny Pacquiao, guys, let’s get it,” Garcia announced during a live stream. He emphasized that the fight is indeed scheduled for late 2024, though the exact date is still being finalized. “It’s coming soon. I’m trying to work on a date. It will definitely be at the end of the year. So, I’m working hard, focusing more, and cutting out distractions.”

Recently, Manny Pacquiao participated in an exhibition bout against K-1 Kickboxing world champion Rukiya Anpo. The match ended in a draw, with Anpo showcasing his size advantage. After the fight, Garcia took the opportunity to call out both Pacquiao and Anpo during the Super Rizin 3 event.
Garcia’s Antics Outside The Ring
Ryan Garcia, despite his youth, has built an impressive boxing career. His transition from a standout amateur to a professional has been marked by multiple world titles. However, his journey has not been without its challenges. Garcia’s career faced a setback with his first professional loss to Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis. Recently, he has dealt with controversies including a missed weight, a failed drug test, and some personal issues, including a high-profile arrest and accusations of abuse.
On the other hand, Manny Pacquiao’s boxing career is nothing short of legendary. The Filipino fighter has captured titles in multiple weight classes, with 62 victories to his name. Pacquiao has earned belts from the WBC, IBF, WBO, and WBA, among others. His aggressive fighting style and knockout power earned him the nickname ‘Pac-Man’ and elevated him to national hero status in the Philippines.
Even after stepping away from professional boxing, Pacquiao remains active in the sport through exhibition matches, like the recent one at Super Rizin 3. Beyond boxing, Pacquiao is also known for his singing career and his role as a politician.
As the fight between Pacquiao and Garcia draws nearer, fans are eagerly awaiting what promises to be a thrilling encounter between two significant figures in boxing.
