Scott Johnson and Ryan Hewitt both put their perfect 1-0 records on the line as they meet at Almighty FC 27. Manchester plays host to the event on July 24th at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre. The Middleweight title will be up for grabs elsewhere on the card as Hairder Khan takes on Ole Magnor in what’s sure to be another great night.
Scott Johnson comes into this one following a first-round submission victory last time out. He made his pro debut at Almighty FC 24, a rear-naked choke win over Dario Palazzo. He made the jump this year following an 8-year stint on the amateur circuit, experience sure to stand him in good stead going forward.
His opponent, Ryan Hewitt, has had a similar journey. His last fight ended in a second-round stoppage as he bested Mark Wade at GTFP 16. The Fearless MMA flyweight also has an extensive amateur background, setting this one up to be a high-level contest.
The two 125 pound competitors match up well and are sure to add some fast-paced action for the Manchester crowd.
