UFC bantamweight champion Suga Sean O’Malley is set to defend his title at UFC 306 against Merab Dvalishvili. This is a hotly anticipated match up between the striking sniper O’Malley and grappler Merab. Something that has resurfaced in the build up to this fight is a beef with Henry Cejudo. Ever since Cejudo started teasing his comeback the two have traded barbs. But, recently things have heated up between the 2 after O’Malley briefly appeared on Usman and Cejudo’s podcast for 30 seconds to insult Cejudo.
Sean O’Malley Throws Insults Cejudo’s Way Ahead of UFC Noche
In a recent interview with Daniel Cormier on Cormiers Youtube channel Sean O’Malley let the insults fly. DC asked Sean, “Why did you have to do Henry like that?” laughing given it was pretty funny. he said, “I messaged Kamaru after and said sorry bro I just can’t f*cking stand Henry.” and stated his respect for Usman. However with Cejudo he said, “Henry, he’s gonna be at home streaming this fight illegally because he can’t afford it on his couch, kicking his feet up.” Here he’s firing shots at Cejudo’s pay given his recent losses and inactivity.
Sean continued saying, “Henry is just a little f*king weasel, and I don’t like that guy . It’s his attitude. He rubs a lot of people wrong. He got this big ego like I’m the man of fighting, and I’m pound-for-pound and teaching Jon Jones how to fight.” This is a pretty accurate statement. Many people aren’t fans of Cejudo due to his attitude and general cringiness. And it’s only gotten worse given the recent losses.
He also said, “Like bro, you’re not that f*cking good. Yeah, you won a couple fights but you’re not that f*cking good. Talking about going down to 25 because I’m running the division! He’s like, ‘Oh, I wanna fight Sean’ You don’t wanna fight me. He doesn’t wanna fight me. I’m a nightmare for him. He’s like, ‘Oh I’ll take you down, hold you down.’ Cool, I’ll get up and kill you. You suck, Henry sucks.” And at this point Sean would be able to beat Cejudo with relative ease given his last few performances.
