Sean Strickland is notorious for his heavy hitting sparring sessions with some of the top talent in mixed martial arts, but this Friday it was a different type of partner inside the cage and this time he got the chance to spar with streaming influencer Sneako.
The video footage of the beatdown took place at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas. The sparring session that was streamed for online viewers across the world had to be waved off by UFC legend Forrest Griffin.
Sneako took a lot of unanswered shots from the former Middleweight champion Strickland and it was so one-sided and brutal that you could hear the discomfort from the person behind the camera filming the beatdown. Sneako’s crew had seen enough as they tossed towels into the cage seconds before the stoppage.
Say what you want about streaming influencers, but Sneako did not drop or quit – he took everything Strickland threw at him but was not dropped – which, in the video you can hear Sean Strickland praise Sneako for not going down.
Sneako will most likely think twice before asking to step inside a cage with an elite mixed martial artist after he was left bloodied by Strickland.
Jake Paul Calls out Sean Strickland
Jake Paul was one of the many who took notice of the sparring session and made a challenge of his own to Strickland.
“Shawn Strickland you’re embarrassing for trying to stop sneako like that
you weren’t even able to drop someone with no experience while going all out😅
You’re a horrid boxer that only picks on inexperienced people..
I’ll fly you to PR and we can fight on camera… if you win I’ll give you $1 million (half your net worth)
But if you get dropped you have to get Betr tattooed on you. DM me. But just like paddy I’m guessing you’ll find a way to run.”
Strickland simply replied with,
“You lost to a part time boxer lol….” and then again with “But yes lol…”
Could Sean Strickland be in a new business venture with these sparring sessions? These streaming influencers do have a lot of money, and maybe Strickland could cash in.
What are your thoughts on the sparring session with Sneako, and what about the Jake Paul’s challenge to a fight?
