UFC 312 being only a little over one week away Sean Strickland retakes Aim at UFC Welterweight Champion Belal Muhammad. In a recent interview with The Schmo Strickland unleashed one of his classic no-holds-barred rants on Muhammad. “Listen about the f**ing Belal Muhammad” Strickland starts in. “where’s he from? F**ing Miami or Detroit!” The Schmo tells Strickland Muhammad is from Chicago, and the Former champ continues. “Belal, do me a favor and shut the f*** up. This was followed by other Strickland insults and put-downs all that remains is for Strickland to get through his rematch.
Strickland’s Words Start a Feud With Muhammad Lasting Three Years and Counting
Where did all the bad blood come from between Strickland and Muhammad? The answer is pretty simple the mouth and Twitter (X) account of the brash former champion Strickland. A comment Strickland made three years ago during the time Palestine was being attacked and bombed. Strickland said something along the lines of Palestine is going to lose anyway they should bend the knee. Which enraged Belal Muhamand who is of Palestinian descent and is very proud of his heritage. Muhammad later on said in an interview if Strickland somehow got his belt back he would be willing to move up for double champ status and smack Strickland around. Or if the UFC offered the opportunity the B.M.F title and he’d fight Strickland for free at that point. All of these factors all depend on whether Strickland gets past Dricus Du Plessis.
Muhammad More Than Willing to Move Up to Middleweight to Face Strickland
With all the insults flying Muhammad has said he is more than willing to move up to middleweight to fight Strickland. Strickland has also said he is willing to fight any time. Strickland said during The Schmo interview “Every time I F**ing see you bro you have your head down like a f***ing little girl. You’re saying you want to fight me or you want to dry hump me? You’re ****** ******, get out of here,”. Neither of the two men has much respect for each other as of right now with Muhammad and Strickland both being known for pushing the pace. as well as using their cardio as a weapon to melt their opponents in the cage Strickland vs Muhammad if it happens is shaping up to be the feud MMA needs in 2025.
