Shajidul Haque earns a split decision victory over Samir Faiddine at Ares FC 8. The Almighty FC Flyweight champion earned his 14th win in Paris moments ago. Despite being a slip decision, it was a comfortable win for the Brit.
Showing his class throughout he was better than his French counterpart for the majority of the fight. Marking his Ares FC debut with a win Shaj has put people on notice.
What’s Next?
Now 14-5 and making it four in a row. Haque has put himself in an excellent spot. Already holding gold in the UK regional scene. He has gone abroad and once again delivered the goods.
A big win for him on a card that would have had many eyes on it. Can only mean good things for Shaj. He could go back and defend his belt for Almighty FC. However, he has firmly put his name out there as one to watch. We wouldn’t be surprised if we see him competing at the top very soon.
Still only 31, now would be the perfect time for him to earn his break. Competing at what many consider to be the sports peak age. He will be looking to expand once more and show the world who Shaj Haque really is.
