Since his last appearance in September last year, Shay has been focused on improvement and preparation for the upcoming fight: “I’ve taken on a new S&C coach,” he reveals. “I’m more than ready to go,” he adds confidently, signalling his readiness for the challenge ahead against the dangerous Cheikh Mane.
Discussing his opponent, Cheikh Mane, Shay acknowledges the difficulty of the upcoming fight: “Cheikh Mane is a hard fight for me,” he admits. “He’s got long limbs and a fast-paced fight style,” he adds, recognizing the challenges posed by his opponent’s skill set.
Analyzing Cheikh’s strengths, Shay acknowledges his opponent’s versatility and physical advantages: “He’s good everywhere,” Shay observes:” He uses his physical advantages to his benefit, and he has a good skill set,” he adds, showing respect for his adversary’s abilities.
