Irelands Shelley Brothers give the country a reason to stand up. Featherweight Ryan and Lightweight Brother Adam both won their fights at the Cage Warriors double header extravaganza in Manchester.
Both brothers won by TKO in what is sure to be a memorable night for the Team KF Martial Arts fighters.
First up of the Shelley brothers was Ryan, a 3-0 featherweight taking on Magdi Gereev. The fight was stopped as Ryan Shelley bombarded his opponent with brutal knees and elbows from the caged clinch position. The referee stepped in after deeming Gereev was no longer defending himself.
Later on the card his sibling, Adam stepped into the cage as he took on nine-fight veteran Steven Hooper in his third pro fight. Not to be outdone by his brother, He stopped Hooper with a hail blizzard of strikes to the now not defending opponent. The final onslaught went on for nearly an entire minute without Shelley stopping for air.
