Shoaib Yousaf lived up to his nickname “The Assasin” as he took out Michel Folc. The Cage Warriors 137 bout was fun while it lasted but it was Yousaf’s powerful knees that ended up deciding it.
As the bout started both men instantly came forward, with Folc making up the most ground early. Yousaf though landed a big knee that demanded respect. Following the strike, Folc calmed his pressure considerably. For every one strike, Yousaf threw though, his opposite through back a combination.
Around the two minute mark, Yousaf has Folc’s back to the cage, prodding at his leg with his knees. In what seemed an instant, Yousaf separated and landed a head kick. He then followed up with two big knees to the head of Folc, brutally stopping him.
The win takes the 26-year-old lightweight to 9-3 and certainly is an interesting addition to the roster.
