Welsh fighter Stephanie Paige Evans will be taking on Eman Alumndhaf on November 12th at Budo Fight Championships in her second outing as a pro.
A Look Into Stephanie’s Next Fight
After an impressive run in amateur mma, Evans made her pro debut at Cage Warriors 142 back in August, where she fell short against a seasoned Jasmine Favero. Since this loss, Stephanie has expressed her drive to set the record straight in her next fight. In a recent social media post, she announced her next bout would take place at Budo Fighting Championships in Neath. Here she faces undefeated Eman Almudhaf, fighting out of the London fight factory.
Fighting Out of SMMA
Stephanie currently trains at Shore MMA. Home to many Welsh champions, past and present: Jack Marshman, Brett Johns, and Jack Shore, just to name a few! With world-class coaches by her side (Richard Shore, Carl Parker and Kru Hehm), Evans will be equipped for war come November 12th.
Recent Activity
Evans has been staying active during her time off. She recently competed in the ADCC British open and didn’t leave empty-handed. Taking home pro adult champion 2022, as she continues to improve her ground game. With her next bout just five weeks away, we caught up with Stephanie to get her thoughts and intentions coming into her next fight.

Preparations for the Upcoming Fight
How are you feeling? How is training going since your last outing at Cage Warriors 142?
“Training has been going really well for me, feeling strong in sparring and back to working my game and playing to my strengths.”
Is anything changing in your preparations leading up to this fight? If so, what are these changes?
“We haven’t changed anything this camp other than the weight class, obviously. We have just stripped back to the basics of my game and just made them air tight. I have recently started working with Gary Lockett for my boxing, but that is the only real addition to this camp, although it is a very good one.”
What are your thoughts on your next opponent Eman Almundhaf? Do you research your opponents before fights?
“I don’t usually research my opponents. I might watch one or two of their fights, but I try not to get too caught up in them and what they’re doing. Eman is obviously a very good striker, and at 2-0, I am under no illusion- this is going to be a good fight. We have opposite fighting styles, so it will ultimately come down to who implements theirs better.”
Your next bout is at Budo Fighting Championships, fighting alongside training partner Scott Pederson. What would a win here mean to you?
“I’m really looking forward to fighting on Budo again. I was their amateur bantamweight champion, and that was where I had my very first amateur fight. It’s a good promotion who have always supported me, so it’s nice to be back there- especially alongside my teammates.“
What experience have you taken away from your last fight against Jasmine Favero?
“I’ve taken a lot from that fight. It’s all experience gained. I am looking forward to getting out there and showing everyone what I’m really capable of. I feel like I didn’t fight to my strengths at all on cage warriors 142 and let myself down a little. It’ll be nice to do my team proud and rectify my mistakes.”
What the future holds for Stephanie Evans
How are you planning to get back into that winning column come November 12th? Do you plan on making a statement?
“November 12th will be a big night, it’s in my home, and I plan to do my town proud. I’ll be sticking to my game plan and listening to my corner, and coming away with a win. That is the only way I see this going. I’m not going in there hunting for a statement finish, but if it comes, I’ll take it.”
Should you get the win here, what’s next for you?
“When I win, I’ll be looking to stay at 66 and get a turnaround quickly after Christmas and get another one in the win column. I’m not too focused on anything too far in the future, just concentrating on what’s in front of me.”
Is there any final comments you’d like to add surrounding your next fight?
“I can’t wait to fight in front of my friends and family in my home and take the fu**ing roof off the place.”
There we have it. Stephanie Evans appears to be more ready to perform come November 12th. Tickets are currently available, priced at £30 standing and £40 cage-side seating. With this bout less than six weeks away, be sure to be quick if you want tickets!
