Amateur MMA fighter Talha Jamil is gearing up for his upcoming bout against Ethan Parry at Golden Ticket Fight Promotions 25, set to take place at the K.K Steelmill in Wolverhampton on March 2nd. In an exclusive interview, Jamil shared his thoughts and expectations ahead of the highly anticipated fight.
Reflecting on his debut last year on FightStar Fighting Championship, Jamil expressed the significance of getting his hand raised and securing his first win in the cage: “Getting your hand raised after the fight just puts your own mind at ease, knowing all that hard work you’ve put in for weeks leading up to the fight has finally paid off, and there is no other feeling like it,” he shared.
Debuting in the MMA scene can be a daunting experience, but Jamil tackled it with composure and confidence. Drawing from his experience in interclubs, he managed to keep his nerves in check and deliver a performance that met his expectations: “I was expecting to be a lot more nervous than I was, but I feel it was made better because I had competed in many interclubs before, helping me deal with the pressure and nerves before a fight,” he explained.

While acknowledging Parry’s proficiency in jiu-jitsu, Jamil is unfazed and ready for whatever comes his way: “I’ve seen a couple of clips of his fights, and he does have decent jiu-jitsu, but I feel that I should be comfortable wherever the fight goes,” he noted.
