Terrence Crawford has claimed that if he beats current Middleweight Canelo Alvarez he will confirm as one of the greats.
Crawford has been very insistent in his want to become one of the greatest boxers of all time and this will be another piece to the puzzle.
Bud beat Israil Madrimov in his first fight above the traditional Welterweight class but didn’t quite look to his usual level.

He will have to jump a few more weight classes to complete a fight against Canelo Alvarez.
But Crawford has been very vocal in wanting to jump the weight classes and call out Canelo.
His wish has been answered by Turki Alalshikh with the two touted for a bout in September after Canelo fights William Scull for undisputed.
Crawford looks to be keeping out of the ring until he takes on Canelo which some fans see as a mistake.
The American has been constant in a single fight a year for the previous 5 years and looks to keep that rule this year only taking on Canelo.
Terrence Crawford is adamant that a win against Canelo Alvarez will edge his name in the greats of boxing.
“WINNING THIS FIGHT IS GONNA SOLIDIFY MYSELF AS AN ALL-TIME GREAT”
He claims that there are few to do what he has in boxing.
“THERE AIN’T TOO MANY FIGHTERS THAT DID WHAT I DID, COMING FROM 135LBS TO 168LBS.”
Terrence Crawford Has No Illusions Of Boxing-
Bud has also claimed to potentially retire from the sport after Canelo.
Crawford wants to retire on his own terms.
“I always said that. I’m going to retire on my own terms and I’m going to feel good because everything that I did, I did it my way.
He wants to ensure that he has the choice and that he won’t wait till boxing retires him.
“I’m going to retire from boxing before I let boxing retire me”
Although Crawford is talking about becoming one of the greats, he will have to get past Canelo before solidifying himself as one of the best.
