Thomas Paull, unfortunately, suffers a TKO loss in his Dana White’s Contender Series fight. An explosive fight for as long as it lasted. Paull was doing well landing some big shots.
A below the belt strike halted the action and the building momentum of Thomas Paull. His opponent Esteban Ribovics would go on to throw massive shots once the action restarted.
Thomas had his moments and landed a big shot that hurt his Argentine opponent. In a sport where losses are part of the course, Thomas will learn from this and return to the cage with improvements all over.
Sometimes you’re the hammer and sometimes you’re the nail. Gutting for all who know Thomas Paull for what he’s like as a person and a fighter. He no doubt showed that he was here for a reason and should he get the call again for either DWCS or UFC just know he’ll make good of his chances.
What’s Next?
Despite a loss, his stock still rises. With plenty of eyes on him, he showed brief moments of what the Juggernaut is capable of. Paull still could have caught the eye of a major promotion. However, this loss doesn’t mean his UFC hopes are all over; he could still get a shot to compete.
