Tommy Fury has fired back at KSI after the Youtuber claimed he would “destroy” him if the pair were to clash between the ropes.
Last night in Saudi Arabia, Fury handed Jake Paul his first professional loss after eight rounds of action. The Brit earned a split-decision victory. However, many feel it was a comfortable night at the office for Fury, despite the divided opinions on the scorecards.
The YouTube boxing scene continues to thrive, and one man whose name has been thrown in the hat is KSI. KSI has dived into the boxing world now and again, but as of late, he has remained relatively active and revealed his end goal in boxing would be to fight Paul. That being said, KSI did reveal it motivates him to accomplish missions that his rival Paul failed at, so there’s a high possibility a fight with Fury will take place.
When asked at the post-fight press conference, Fury admitted he would be open to fighting KSI if the fight materialized.
Tommy Fury Open to KSI Fight
“Listen, at the end of the day, KSI can sit back and in his seat in London and dare say what he wants. Like I said before, he can do what he wants. Sparring ain’t fighting, you gotta get in there to do it. I’ll tell you now if KSI wants to entertain a fight, he’s no Jake Paul. I’ll take that no problem.”
After defeating Paul, Fury has opened a handful of new doors and opportunities that could set him and his newly-formed family up for life. It’s looking like the next fight will be a rematch with Paul, which will generate double the hype and traction, which leaves KSI waiting in the wings.
