Tommy Fury and Jake Paul will square off at Madison Square Garden, New York, on August 6.
Both Fury and Paul were due to fight in December last year. However, Fury pulled out after sustaining a broken rib and a chest infection.
Paul confirmed in May that he would be returning in May, with an opponent yet to be confirmed.
He also announced that Amanda Serrano, who he promotes, will also compete on the August 6 card.
Tommy Fury and Jake Paul Will Finally Go Head-To-Head
Fury took to social media to announce that he had signed the contract to fight ‘The Problem Child.’
“Just to let you all know, the fight on August 6 is going ahead, the contract has been signed.
“After weeks and weeks of waiting for Jake Paul to sign up to the drugs testing – and potentially putting the fight at risk – he’s finally signed up to the drug testing.
“We’ve agreed a contract that we’re happy with, so the fight is going ahead and I’ll see you August 6.”
Soon after, Paul tweeted: “Okay people he grew a set overnight.
“It’s official, I’m taking this little Fury’s head off. Amanda Serrano and I dual main-event at the Mecca of boxing.”
This was after Paul took to Twitter to urge Fury to sign the contract, otherwise, he could end up missing the fight.
Paul tweeted: “Tommy Fury, you pulled out last year. Then you agree to fight me now, but your dad is trying to pull you out again?
“We’ve given you everything you asked for — $2million purse, VADA testing, tampons.
“You have 24 hours to clear this up or I will never give you this opportunity again.”
Fury moved to 8-0 in his last outing after he defeated Daniel Bocianski on points at Wembley Stadium.
As for Paul, his last fight came in December when he knocked out Tyron Woodley in the sixth round.
The win over Woodley was Paul’s fifth in his professional career and is yet to be defeated.
Therefore, with the contracts signed, fans are now starting to get excited about the prospect of the pair settling their disputes inside the ring.
