Grapplefest 15, one of Europe’s fastest-growing professional grappling promotions, has outdone itself once again with its latest offering, Grapplefest. Scheduled for April 1st, 2023, the event will feature two highly-anticipated title fights and a four-man tournament for the recently vacated under 70kg title. The main event will see Sam McNally, Jeremy Skinner, Keith Krikorian, and Gianni Grippo all competing for the title, but the excitement won’t end there. In addition to the tournament, the women’s under 70kg and men’s under 100kg titles will also be on the line, with just one match required to claim either belt.
Rosa Walsh to Defend the 70kg Belt
The women’s under 70kg title fight will see current champion Rosa Walsh defend her title against Magdalena Loska, a top female competitor in Europe who won the ADCC trials in 2021. The men’s under 100kg title will be contested between two ADCC trials winners, Luke Griffith and Santeri Lilius. Although Lilius may be undersized in the matchup, he has proven to be a formidable opponent and could give Griffith, a member of New Wave Jiu-Jitsu, a run for his money.
Grapplefest 15 has a Packed Fight Card
In addition to these title fights, Grapplefest 15 will also feature several other exciting matchups. Dan Manasoiu of New Wave Jiu-Jitsu will take on Mark McQueen, Kaya Rudolph will have a chance to showcase his skills against Ben Bennet, and Ellis Younger and Chris Wojcik will engage in a highly-anticipated match.
Grapplefest continues to impress with its lineups, and Grapplefest 15 promises to be no different. With a men’s under 70kg tournament and two separate title fights, fans of professional grappling are in for a treat on April 1st, 2023. The news of the event was officially announced via the promotion’s Instagram account, and anticipation is already building for what promises to be an unforgettable evening of action.
