Tyson Fury will defend his WBC heavyweight title against Derek Chisora on December 3 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
Boxing fans were hoping for an all-British showdown between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua this year, but talks broke down.
Despite talks breaking down, Fury is eager to fight again this year as his team are eyeing up an undisputed world title clash with Oleksandr Usyk next year.

Speaking on the fight, Top Rank chairman Bob Arum said: “Whenever Tyson Fury fights, it is a major event, and I expect him to once again put on a spectacular show for the fans.
“There are talks about what’s next for Tyson, but the first order of business is a battle against an extraordinarily tough fighter in Derek Chisora.”
‘The Gypsy King’ is coming off of a sixth-round TKO victory over Dillian Whyte back in April.
As for Chisora, ‘Del Boy’ is coming off of a split decision victory over Kubrat Pulev back in July.
Also on the card, WBA ‘regular’ world champion Daniel Dubois will take on Kevin Lerena.
Even though the onus is on Fury to deliver, promoter Frank Warren explains that he must not slip up against Chisora.
“Tyson can’t afford any slip-up in this fight as he has the much-publicised undisputed match-up with Usyk in the new year which we’re really looking forward to.”
Warren also gave his thoughts on Dubois’s first defence of his WBA ‘regular’ belt.
“I am also delighted that we have added Daniel Dubois to the card with a first defence of his WBA belt against Kevin Lerena. It makes it a real heavyweight night, and Daniel represents the best of the new generation coming through.”
With a win against Chisora, Tyson’s attention will then turn to Usyk for a gigantic showdown in 2023.
