UFC 281
Headlined by a combat sports rivalry six years in the making. As former kick-boxing foes, Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira compete for the MMA Middleweight crown. As interesting a match-up as any in the sport today. Adesanya looks to right his kick-boxing wrongs and come out still the king at 185.
The co-main event sees the women’s Strawweight title on the line. As newly crowned Carla Esparza looks to keep her title this time around. In her way is one of the most frightening sights in the sport, as Weili Zhang looks to regain the gold she once lost.
Just touching the surface with these two fights the entire card is unmissable. Lightweight elite Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler compete, in a fight tipped to blow the roof off MSG. We also see a former Lightweight champion call time on his illustrious MMA career as Frankie Edgar makes his final walk.
Not just an unbelievable main, the prelims boast their fair share of bangers as well. Meatball Molly McCann makes her return off the back of yet another spectacular win. She’ll take on her toughest test yet in the form of Erin Blanchfield.
Dominic Reyes returns to the cage and looks to recline the Light Heavyweight ladder. Across from him will be Ryan Spann.
